A lot goes into product pricing. It’s a mixture of science and art, with a reasonable amount of math—and, if we’re being honest, a little bit of luck. It takes time, testing, and adjusting before you get it “dialed in.” And even then, it’s probably not perfect, even for the best inventory app around.
With all of this effort, plus the ever-present customer concerns around costs, many companies treat pricing as if it were part of their intellectual property. They keep it hidden until a prospective customer shows purchase intent. While they’re not entirely wrong that pricing is valuable information, putting a firewall between your brand and your pricing creates unnecessary friction. And in industries where transparency matters—like enterprise software—this can actually harm both the buyer and the seller.
As a buyer of enterprise tools, that’s always bothered me. And as the CEO of an enterprise software company delivering the best inventory app for medical device teams, I found myself uniquely positioned to do something about it. So, after much thought and deliberation, we did. We published our pricing.
This article explains why.[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://connectsx.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/AdobeStock_199468361-scaled.jpeg” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” alt=”our prices for the best inventory app, image showing a rubber stamp on a manila folder ” title_text=”Our prices, web header.” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” min_height=”1570.6px”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” inline_fonts=”Poppins” global_colors_info=”{}”]
We Believe in Our Pricing Model
First and foremost, we published our prices because we believe in our model.
One of the first stress tests pricing needs to pass is simple: is it fair? That can be a loaded question, but we break it down to this: does the value created through our platform align with what we charge? Even more specifically, does the customer have the opportunity to generate more revenue, savings, and efficiency than they spend to use the platform?
When we looked at ConnectSx, the best inventory app for sales reps and distributors, the answer was a resounding yes.
Our pricing model considers the value of each user. Whether they generate revenue directly or support those who do, each role is mapped to the cost of enabling their work. Because our pricing is role-based, ROI is clear. It’s not about charging for features you don’t use. It’s about ensuring that the people on your team have access to exactly what they need, at a fair cost.
Take one example: a sales rep using the best inventory app pays $150 per month (or $1,800 annually). If that rep saves just 2–3 hours per week through simplified inventory requests, easier billing, and streamlined case management, that equates to 144 hours reclaimed every year. What does a rep do with that extra time? Build relationships. Win new cases. Drive revenue.
If one additional case is worth $2,500, the subscription has already paid for itself—before even factoring in reduced waste, better expiration tracking, and faster AR cycles. That’s how you know the model works.
We Believe in Our Platform – The best inventory app around
The second reason we published our pricing is that we believe in our platform itself.
The best inventory app has to do more than look sleek or check boxes on a feature list. It has to solve real problems in real-world conditions, without being overly complex or rigid. Too many enterprise tools bog users down with clunky workflows, while promising innovation that never materializes.
That’s not us. We’ve invested years into building ConnectSx, investing thousands of development hours and shipping hundreds of features each year. Our focus is on creating software that’s intuitive, reliable, and continually evolving.
We’ve opened our knowledge base. We’ve released demo videos and public webinars. We’re transparent because we’re confident that when you see how the best inventory app works, you’ll understand the value it delivers. Publishing our pricing was simply the next step in that transparency.
We Believe in Our Future
Finally, we published our pricing because we believe in where we’re going.
Competition is healthy. It pushes everyone to get better. And in the long run, customers win. We’re not afraid of competition—in fact, we welcome it. Our focus is on becoming the best inventory app in the market, not just today but tomorrow too.
That means we’re not building for short-term wins. We’re building for long-term partnerships. Our pricing isn’t designed to maximize this quarter’s revenue. It’s designed to signal that we want to grow with our customers, aligning our success with theirs.
Will our pricing evolve? At some point, yes. But when it does, it will still be grounded in the same principles: fairness, transparency, and published openly for all to see.
The Bottom Line
We didn’t publish our pricing to make a splash. We did it because we believe in our model, our platform, and our future. We believe that when you’re offering the best inventory app, hiding your prices doesn’t make sense. Transparency does.
We’re working to become an indispensable partner in your business—not one you reconsider every time renewal season rolls around. That starts with trust. And trust starts with clarity.
So here it is: our pricing, out in the open. Because if we really believe in the best inventory app, we should believe enough to show you exactly what it costs, and exactly why it’s worth it.
If you’re interested in learning more about ConnectSx, exploring our pricing, or seeing how we deliver ROI to medical device teams every day, we’d love to talk.
